7:15 AM – 3:15 PM

 

We are not open after school on Tuesdays and Minimum Days.

 

Checking Out a Book (To take with you)

Have your ID card ready and come up to the Circulation Desk.

Students, you are responsible for your library books!  Please look them over before you check them out so you are not charged for damage.  Do not loan them to your friends.  If your books are lost or stolen, you are responsible.  Keep them in a safe place, and return them on time.  Renew them for additional time.
 

To Check In a Book (Return to the Library)

Return the book to the bin on the Circulation Desk or wait in line.
 

Late Fines

LAUSD charges 10 cents per book per day.  The maximum fine without damage or loss is $5.00.

 

Damaged Books

Full replacement cost for damage to the book including one or more of the following: water damage, writing in pen, pages missing or torn, and/or cover and spine damage that cannot be repaired.  Please see Ms. Crow to find out the cost of the book.

 

Renewal

You may renew your book up to two times, as long as it's not on hold for someone else.  Come to the Circulation Desk, and let us know you would like to renew your book(s). You do not need to have your book with you.

 

Magazines

You may check out magazines from the current month or older.

 

Reference Books

Reference books may be checked out overnight.  The book is due before first period the following day.
