Sepulveda Middle School-based management has a mandatory uniform policy, which consists of the following:

• A white or navy blue collared polo shirt or the Sepulveda Hawaiian shirts are the only acceptable shirts. Students may purchase the Sepulveda Hawaiian Spirit shirt at the student store (this is the only Hawaiian print allowed). Students may purchase a plain white or navy blue shirt (three buttons, a collar, long or short sleeves) at any department store outside of school. Undershirts must be white or navy blue.
• Pants, shorts and skirts must be navy, black or beige/tan in color. Sweat pants, basketball pants, army fatigue pants are NOT permitted. Shorts and skirts should not be too short. Too short is defined as more than 5 inches above the knee.
• Sweatshirts must be PLAIN, navy blue, black or white.
• Pants MUST fit at the waist and be able to stay up without a belt holding them. (No baggy pants allowed.) Rubber bands may not be worn at the ankles.
• Open-toed, high-heeled, or platform shoes are NEVER allowed because of safety issues.
• Students are NOT permitted to wear calf length, long white socks, with calf length pants.
• Sports team jackets are NOT to be worn to school. Jackets are to be PLAIN, navy blue, or white.
• Students are NOT permitted to wear hats or bandanas.
• A sun protective hat is available to purchase in the student store. (This is the only hat allowed during sunny weather.
• At no time are students permitted to wear long chains attached to wallets or clothing.

Please make sure your child is appropriately dressed each day for school. We want all Sepulveda students to be safe and dressed in a manner appropriate to a school setting. We want all of our students to dress for success. Thank you for your support.
